Welcome

The Virginia Asthma Coalition (VAC) is a group of organizations and individuals devoted to reducing the morbidity and mortality associated with asthma. Organized in the spring of 1998, the Coalition is now in the process of becoming a 501-C3 organization with a focus on 5 goals from our state plan (hyperlink to that information).   Members actively participate in asthma work teams who’s focus are in the areas of education, asthma action plans, policy, data, and communication.   We have quarterly face to face meetings in Richmond but much of our work is done electronically.   If you are a person interested in helping to make a difference for those affected by asthma in the state of Virginia contact our President Stuart Tousman (satousman@jchs.edu).
